HOW TO APPLY FOR FUNDING

How do I submit a request for support?

If you wish to apply, please write to us providing details of the project, how it relates to EABL Foundation focus areas and the amount of funding required. Use a proposal format and keep it brief and concise, preferably no more than 3 pages.

We will contact you if we require further details. You will normally receive written notification of whether your application has been successful or not within 6-8 weeks.

How are proposals evaluated?

Proposals that meet the Foundation's funding criteria and focus areas are evaluated every month by the Foundation Trustees

How soon do we get feedback on our proposals?

EABL Foundation will contact you with any queries they may have on your proposals. Notification on whether your proposal was successful or not will be received within 6-8 weeks.

How do I prepare a proposal?

There are many ways to prepare a funding proposal the main things to remember is: keep it brief and focused, outline clearly what you need, any partners you are working with, any authoritative endorsements, give dates where necessary and include a detailed budget breakdown.

How do I apply for a scholarship? 

EABL Foundation awards university scholarships to bright but needy East African students. We advertise mid year in the local dailies (East Africa). Interested persons should look out for these ads and apply. ‘
