Public Health Minister commends our Water of Life Programme

Outspoken Public Health Minister Hon. Beth Mugo did not hold back her praise for our water agenda as she chaired the launch of an EABL Foundation water project in the populous Kawangware area in Nairobi this week.

Speaking when she commissioned the 4million worth facility at Kawangware, Minister for Public Health and Sanitation, Hon. Beth Mugo, said that the provision of water and sanitation was one of the key elements in ensuring sustainability of communities.
She further revealed that the project would go a long way in reducing the impact of water borne diseases which was prevalent in various parts of the country.
The facility will benefit over 24,000 area residents and is part of several water and sanitation projects constructed in various parts of the country.
Also present during the occasion were EABL Foundation manager – Keith Obure, CEO Athi Water Services - Eng. Lawrence Mwangi amongst dignitaries who thanked the Foundation and urged other corporates to join hands in reducing the impact of water borne diseases in informal areas.
