Golf with a Heart
The sponsors of the Johnnie Walker Golf Series, EABL, through their Johnnie Walker Brand donated money towards the assistance of the Internally Displaced Persons in Kenya through the Kenya Red Cross.

Speaking to the press, UDV GM, Josephat Ngile said that during the Muthaiga Golf Club qualification round, EABL through its Foundation donated Sh2, 000 for every birdie scored and Sh5, 000 for every eagle or hole-in-one scored. The Muthaiga qualifying event was played over four days. The highest number of birdies and eagles were scored on Saturday the 12th of January when 216 amateur and professional golfers took part in an extra-ordinary golf day.
EABL Foundation expects to donate over Ksh 500, 000 to the Kenya Red Cross through this initiative.
