Save a Life Fund - 2004

EABL partnered with Standard Chartered Bank Limited and the Nation Media Group to launch a nationwide campaign –“Save a Life” aimed at contributing funds to help, alleviate the looming famine spell across the country that was affecting 1.4 million Kenyans.


The Save a Life fund assisted in bring fresh foodstuff to drought victims who are mostly affected in regions which include; Coast, North Eastern, Rift Valley and Eastern Provinces.

EABL committed Kshs 2.5 million to the fund while Standard Chartered has committed Kshs. 1 million. Nation Media Group donated Kshs. 3.5 million in Media publicity.
