Staff in Tree Planting Drive
EABL staff has helped plant over 300 tree seedlings at Ndakaini Dam - a water catchment area in upper Thika and Maragwa Districts in a tree planting drive.

EABL also donated Kshs. 200,000 worth of tree seedlings during the event.

The dam is an important water source for Nairobi, and the tree planting exercise was organized to coincide with the recently launched Tree Planting Season. President Mwai Kibaki led Kenyans in marking this noble event, which was dubbed “Conserve our Forests for Sustainable Water Flow and Economic Growth”.

EABL abides by NEMA (National Environmental Management Authority) standards and strives to become more actively involved in environmental projects such as the tree planting and the protection of our forests and national parks
